Frequently Asked Questions
What is the worship style at Lake Ridge?
We try to connect the best of modern melody with the ancient practices of the Christian faith. In terms of music, we would be classified as utilizing modern worship music. However, we value and utilize the lyrics of ancient and traditional hymns as well. Please feel free to contact our worship leader - Keith Pipes - for more information or visit our Worship page.
What kind of activities do you have for children on Sunday?
On Sunday mornings, we offer preschool care for infants through Kindergarten throughout the worship service. All 1st through 5th graders participate in the music portion of our service. At the time of the message, they move into an age-appropriate Bible study group. Go to our KidZone page for more information.
How do I get involved in a small group?
Community Groups are the name of our small Bible study groups. They meet in homes and we would love to have participate in one very soon. Feel free to contact Philip Nation to find out how to get involved in a small group this week. Go to the Community Group page for more information.
How do I become a member of Lake Ridge?
From the beginning of the church, moving from attendee to member is an important commitment. There are many ways to be involved in Lake Ridge but we have created a specific path to supportive, accountable membership through Lake Ridge Journey. It is a one-session course offered once a quarter. Simply contact one of the pastors to sign-up for the next offering of the Journey.
Is Lake Ridge associated with any denomination?
We work locally with the Lanier Baptist Association to accomplish local mission work, the Georgia Baptist Convention to do work in the state and the Southern Baptist Convention to support thousands of missionaries around the globe.
